Your Orthodontic Journey
1. Consultation
The orthodontist examines your bite, takes photos and X-rays and explains your options and cost.
2. Fitting
Braces are bonded to your teeth in one visit. Any extractions needed to make space are done first.
3. Adjustments
You visit every 4–6 weeks for the wires to be tightened as your teeth move.
4. Retention
Braces come off and a retainer keeps your teeth straight for life.

Am I too old for braces?
No. Teeth can be moved at any age as long as your gums and bone are healthy. Many of our braces patients are working adults.
How long do braces take to straighten teeth?
Most cases take 12 to 24 months. Mild crowding or a small gap may be finished in under a year; complex bites take longer.
How much do braces cost in Uganda?

Can gaps between teeth be closed without braces?
Small gaps can be closed with composite bonding or veneers in one or two visits. Larger gaps or several gaps are best closed with braces so the bite stays correct.
